Collaborative Divorce
Collaborative Divorce
“Helping couples obtain a non-destructive divorce” Collaborative Divorce helps couples negotiate a divorce settlement that is obtained in a healthy non-destructive manner. Collaborative Divorce allows a couple to divorce without having to involve the courts. In a collaborative divorce each spouse has their own attorney. The spouse and each of their attorneys meet together to resolve any disputes and to create a marital settlement agreement that meets the needs of both spouses. This process is based on collaboration between the spouses and the attorneys. In a collaborative divorce each spouse remains in control of the divorce process. The courts cannot take over the process. The attorneys cannot take over the process. Collaborative law attorneys are trained in helping people resolve conflicts without the threat or use of court action. Sietze Vanderheide is a Collaborative Law Attorney. He works with other collaborative attorneys to help couples obtain a divorce that is healthy and non-destructive. The Collaborative Divorce process often includes the assistance of a Divorce Facilitator to help work out emotional conflicts between you and your divorcing spouse. A Divorce Facilitator is a mental health professional that works with you and your divorcing spouse to resolve impasses in the divorce process. Sietze Vanderheide is a Collaborative Divorce Facilitator. He can help you and your spouse work through impasses and direct you towards obtaining a healthy divorce.
